Abstract


Celiac disease, the . most • common food sensitive enteropathy in humans, can be defined as a permanent intolerance to gliadin and related proteins is characterized by the presence of histopathologic abnormalities localized in the proximal small intestine. Genetic, immunologic and environmental factors are necessary for the expression of the disease.
