Abstract
This experiment was carried out at the Research Station for Waterfowls at EL-Serw, v.rhich belongs to the Animal Production Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture, Ookki.
The objective of the current experiment was to study the
water pollution in EL-Sef\v water drain on productive traits in Ducks (Domyati as a locar strain). Therefor, 300 one-day old ducklings was randomly distributed into two groups. One of them taken tap water (control group) and the other taken water drain. the experimental period rum from one-day old till 16 weeks of age.
A significant reduction in the body weight of birds taken water drain was noticed at all intervals due to the total number of microorganisms and heavy metals. Dressing percentage of treated group.was significantly increased compared to control group at 12 weeks of age, -.vhi!e it was significantly reduced for treated group compared to centro! group at 16 weeks of age.
Relative weight of gizzard, spleen and abdomina! fat were significantly decreased compared to centro! group at 12 weeks of age. VVhile liver percentage was significantly devreased for treated group compared to centro! group at 16 weeks of age. The residues of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd},

muscles for treated group compared to centro! group at 12 and
16 weeks of age. ,t.,ctivity of GPT and GOT increased in plasma for treated group compared to control group at 12 and 16 weeks of age. These results suggested that the total number of
microorganisms (303143), fecal E. Coli (2400)/Litre and many heavy metals decreased the performance of Oomyati ducks.
