Abstract
The aim of this work ts to emphasize the role of transrectal ultrasonography in evaluating disorders of the seminal vesicles and ejaculatory ducts with clinical correlation.
Conventional radiographic techniques for i 'll:tging the seminal vesicles and ejaculatory ducts invu!ve either catheterization or injection of contrast material into those structures.
This procedure ts not only an invasive one requiring urethral manipulation but also technically eli fficul t.
Clinical examination of the seminal vesicles and ejaculatory ducts is difficult and seldom diagnostic.
The clinical appearance of seminal vesicle disease have been difficult to separate from that of the chronic disorders of I,
the prostate.
The cause of hematospermia, pain on ejaculation, perineal pam, frequently are ascribed to chronic non-bacterial prostatitis or are considered idiopathic but these symptoms
