Abstract


The oriental catfish, Plotosus lineatus, ts one of the most dangerous venomous fishes known in the Red Sea and the Suez Gulf. This work is the first trial recording the enzymatic activities and biological properties of the crude venom of the oriental catfish, to the best of our knowledge, as no such data was recorded before.
