NURSING MODULE TO CARE FOR PATIENTS UNDERGOING MAJOR UROLOGICAL PROCEDURES

Abstract
This decade IS known for its technological and educational development throughout the world in all fields, especially in general health, therefore nurses should adapt and develop their techniques, knowledge and performance according to this development.
The purpose of this study was to develop nursmg module to improve quality of nursing care offered to patients undergoing major urological procedures.
Method:
The research was conducted at urological department at Tanta University Hospital. The subjects were (a) 35 nurses (study group) caring for patients undergoing major urological procedures (b) two groups of patients (20 each) undergoing major urological procedures.
