Title of Thesis: Synthesis and characterization of some interesting Heterocyclic compounds containing non-mixed and mixed systems.
This thesis describe the behavior of β-(1-naphthoyl) acrylic acid toward different Nitrogen, sulfur and carbon nucleophiles under conditions of Michael addition reaction, and using the resulting Michael adducts to build novel interesting heterocycles, furthermore using β-(1-naphthoyl) acrylic acid as a building block in some multicomponent cycloaddition reactions to design new spiro-heterocycles with expected biological activities.
