MODELING ALGORITHMIC FOR OPTIMAL PULSE WIDTH MODULATION
Hashem, Gamal;
Abstract
This paper describes a new accurate digital technique for optimal harmonic elimination in pulse-width modulation (PWM) inverters. The laws governing the switching angles of the PWM strategy with novel analytical algorithmic expression are developed. The algorithmic expression, which is executed in real time, is derived from accurate modeling of off-line prepared switching patterns. This enables almost total elimination of a wide band of harmonic voltages. In addition controlling of the fundamental voltage is achieved.
