Abstract
This study was designed to redescribed the trematode Orientocreadium batrachoides that have been recovered from the intestine of the infected catfish Clarias lazera, in addition to the ultrastructural studies of this parasite and the histopathological changes of the infected intestine of Clarias lazera. Samples of Clarias lazera were dissected and examined for this parasite and prepared for SEM and TEM, while the intestine of the host was prepared for histological observations. This study has provided further informations on Orientocreadium batrachoides, particularly its impact on the host fish.
