Promoting Care Given for Cerebral Palsy Children: Instructional Guidelines for Mothers

Abstract
Cerebral palsy constitutes a major health problem throughout the child's life and potentially traumatic event for parents and siblings. Cerebral palsy is often associated with epilepsy and abnormalities of speech, vision and hearing, speech impairment, feeding problems, cognitive impairment, urinary problems, dental problems. Additionally, impaired physical mobility, self care deficit, psychological problems, infectious and malnutrition diseases. Therefore mothers need to increase their knowledge about cerebral palsy and how to introduce care for their children, also mothers need to support from nursing for helping them to solve problems which facing them during their children care to prepare them for selfcare.
