This study had been canied out at the Anesthesiology Department Faculty of Medicine, El-Minia University; between the period from

The study included 90 adult male and female patients undergoing elective abdominal surgeries under general anesthesia. According to the route of drug administration, (either 'iv' or epidural), they divided into two major groups (each contained 45 patients). But according to the type of administered opioid, each major group will be subdivided into 3 subgroups. All patients included into the study will be injected blindly by one of the unknown drugs, after finishing of the study the key of the dmgs
was opened by the supervisors.
