Abstract
Seizure is a common childhood neurological disorder that places a considerable burden on the health status and cognitive and social development of children with the condition. Preventing seizures is the primary aim of treatment. It has been shown that complete freedom from seizures, especially in young children, is the best (but not only) condition for optimal development.
our study is a cross sectional study carried out in Emergency Paediatric Unit at Bab – Elshairia Hospital, AL-Azhar-University, Cairo, Egypt .
Children with acute attack of convulsion were randomly selected for this study.
