Prognostic Clinical and Laboratory Parameters in Children with primary Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura
Amira Ahmed Nazim;
Abstract
This study is aimed to:
1. Determine the presenting features, clinical characteristics, of newly diagnosed cases of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) among studied children.
2. Determine the prognostic factors that could predict the disease course at diagnosis.
3. Estimate the presence of antibodies at disease onset and evaluate whether the antibody pattern at disease onset can predict the course of the disease, i.e. acute or chronic.
4. Evaluate treatment types and outcome in childhood with ITP.
