Abstract
SUMMARY
J
aundice is one of the most common and annoying problems that occur in the newborn. Jaundice is observed during the first week of life in approximately 60% of term neonates and 80% of preterm neonates.
Our study was done on 80 apparently healthy full term newborns with non hemolytic unconjugated hyper-bilirubinemia. The studied newborns were divided into 2 groups according to type of feeding; breast feeding and mixed feeding, each included 40 newborns who further subdivided into two subgroups according to presence or absence of neonatal massage.
