Abstract
This study is an attempt to find $Ome new cultivars, clones, and hybrids of sweet potato in order to improve its productivity and quality.
For this end, 76 genotypes resulted from true seeds collected by the open

pollinated from lines developed also from true seeds brought from
Coastal Research and Education center, Coarlesston, Clemson University, south Carolina, U.S.A. In addition to, 12 genotypes were obtained from the International Potato Centre, Kafr El-Zaiat, Egypt. All this materials were used in this study, which conducted at the experimental Farm of Horticulture Research Station, Sakha, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate during the successive seasons from 1994-1996.
