STUDY ON THE REMOVAL OF SOME RADIOISOTOPES FROM LIQUID WASTES BY NANO-MATERIALS

Ihab Samir Abd El Fattah;

Abstract

The first chapter is the introduction in which an outline on the definition of nano materials, their synthesis techniques and their applications in different fields is presented. This chapter also includes a literature survey on the previous work performed on the simple nanosized metal oxides, magnetic nanosized metal oxides and their different applications.
Chapter 2, the experimental:
This chapter includes complete description of the materials ,reagents, instruments and the methods used for the preparation of nanosized aluminum oxide and also the preparation of nanosized (MgFe2O4),( NiFe2O4) and (CoFe2O4) by a hybrid sol gel combustion method using three different fuels urea , oxalic acid and citric acid. In addition to the preparation of the nanometal ferrocyanid composites such as magnesium hexacyanoferrate/MgFe2O4 (MgHCFC), nickel hexacyanoferrate / NiFe2O4 (NiHCFC), cobalt hexacyanoferrate/ CoFe2O4 (NiHCFC) composites
