In National Institute for Urology and Nephrology who started their work in field of renal transplantation in (1994) about (160) cases were performed up till now. On the other hand bone marrow transplantation on the Naser Institute for research and treatment started their work in April (1997) and performed about (59) cases until May (1998), (46) as an allogeneic transplant and (13) as an autologous transplant. Transplantation has offered hope and cure to thousands of patients, this success is due in large part to the dedicated nurses working in this specialty. New knowledge and clinical skills will indeed by required to assume the evolving advanced practice roles, nurse education has a major role in ensuring that nursing practice is sensitive, relevant and capable of responding to the wide range of health and social needs of society.
