Evaluation of Adaptability and Bond strength of a Bioceramic sealer after Activation using ultrasonic
Rasha sayed azzam;
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of method of sealer application, whether ultrasonically or non activated on push out bond strength and sealer adaptation to dentinal wall on three different types of sealer.
A total 90 recently extracted caries free single rooted human teeth heaving approximately similar dimensions were used.
Root canal of the experimental teeth were shaped using ProTaber Ni-Ti files. Roots were irrigated with 2.5% NaOCL after each file. A final flush of 17% EDTA was performed. Finally the canals washed with saline and were dried with sterile paper point.
The specimens were randomly assigned into three main groups as follow;
GroupI: AH Plus sealer. (N=30 per group)
GroupII; TotalFill BC sealer. (N=30 per group)
GroupIII; EndoFill sealer. (N=30 per group)
