ROLE OF MR IMAGING IN DIAGNOSIS OF SINONASAL DISEASES

Abstract
A variety of inflammatory and neoplastic diseases affect the paranasal sinuses and nasal cavity.
This study included 60 patients, who were referred from Ear, Nose and Throat, Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery departments.
There were 28 male patients and 32 female patients and their ages ranged from 5 to 83 years.
The results were divided into 3 groups:
0 Tumors
@ Inflammatory diseases
@Trauma
The final MRI diagnosis was correlated with the histopathological analysis in 27 patients and with follow up, treatment and surgical results in 33 patients.
