Abstract
Preface
Good manufacturing practice and the quality of food products is one of the addressed topics in the research plan of the Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry Department. A Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) program is concerned with the safety of food contact materials and food products via implementing reasonable control processes and establishing appropriate quality systems. The safety of food packaging is as important as that of the food itself. In our study, we deal with some of the leaching components from plastic and metal food packages that might affect the quality and safety of food.
