different means, tis follows:
• Optical devices:
contactlenses.

• Corneal rf?:fraetive procedures: (radial keratotomy (RK), automated lamellar keratoplast (ALK),. photorefractive keratoplasty (PRK), laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK).
• Intraocular procedures: clear lens extraction. without or with phakic intraocular lens implants (P- JOL).
The important facets of each procedure are the ease of application, the accuracy, theperiod ofrecovery, the quality of vision,. the long-term stability ofthe results, and the mznor or maJor complications. Also important• . are the possibilities of the
