Abstract
Background: A multiparity is defined as woman (multip) has given birth more than once. It is considered a medical and social problem that has been drawing the attention of gynecologists in many countries. Aim: is to assess the effect of multiparity on the children health condition. Research design: Adescriptive design was utilized in the study. Setting: The study was conducted in three family medical centers at EL-SALAM city, Cairo governorate (El-Salam Awal, El-Salam Thany, El-Delta). Sampling: Apurposive sample composed of two hundred and seventeen (217) multiparity mothers with their children chosen randomly. Tools: Different tools were used fordata collection of study include, First tool: Interviewing questionnaire to assess sociodemographic characteristics, knowledge and practice of the study sample, Second tool: family medical record to collect data about children health condition.
