Abstract

varian tumors are the second most common gynecological malignancy and the seventh commonest tumor in women. Pre-operatively, we have to differentiate benign from malignant lesions to decide whether surgery is required and which type of surgery is appropriate. Thus, diagnostic imaging can help in avoiding un-necessary surgeries especially in postmenopausal women and help deciding for conservative management for young ones wishing to preserve fertility potential.
