Abstract


Cutaneous wound healing is a dynamic, interactive process involving the interaction of cells in the dermis and epidermis. However, the process is impaired in case of diabetes mellitus resulting in delayed wound healing. The impairment of wound healing in diabetic patients is an important clinical problem affecting millions of patients worldwide. This significant healthcare problem lacks effective therapy. Therefore, silver nanoparticles therapy, could be a good solution.
