Water Purification from Organic Waste Using Nanomodified Natural Polymers
Ahmed Mohammed Bayoumy Mohammed;
Abstract
This work aims to study the interaction between the chitosan biopolymer and ibuprofen molecule (IBP) in order to understand the mechanism of their interaction as well as make use of our understanding for the removal of IBP from aqueous solutions.
The work during this thesis is divided into two main parts; theoretical part and experimental one. The theoretical part includes the usage of molecular modeling concepts and methods for building up model molecules of our entities in order to optimize them then validate their interaction probability together through the resultant and calculated physical and thermal parameters as well as the calculated IR vibr
