Non Oxide Ceramics for Solar Energy Applications
Dina Hussien Amin Besisa;
Abstract
The Approaching of fossil fuel depletion and limited availability of the
petroleum based source of energy have forced the world to find alternatives
in order to solve this issue. It was estimated that more than 60% of the world
energy is lost in vain worldwide, mostly in the form of waste heat. Some
attempts were carried out to participate in solving this problem by
introducing the renewable energy and thermoelectric energy conversion
sources into our heat, fuel and electricity market. In an attempt to solve one
of the most critical global concerns of energy resources depletion, the present
work is focused on tailoring and processing of a new solar receiver and
thermoelectric material.
