As compared with digital subtraction angiography (DSA), CT angiography was highly accurate, faster (12 minutes ± 6 [standard deviation] vs 58 minutes ± 17) and better-tolerated (referred pain, 1.9% vs 67%) in the diagnosis and staging of peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
