Mohamed Ghamri Mahmoud;

Abstract

DPH can affect patients’ functional recovery and comfort, both are critical factors for patients who expect to resume their daily activities as soon as possible. Especially obstetric patients who will be responsible for a new child. As its known that spinal anesthesia is recommended for C/S as it is more safe, also giving the patient enough pain relief post operatively for at least 4-6 hours without the need of opiod analgesics which will help the mother to lactate her baby safely without the risk of suspected side effects of opoids
So that its important to decrease the incidence of the most serious complication of spinal anesthesia PDPH which will help obstetric patients to recover as early as possible making them able to take care of their children, also decreasing the period of hospital stay post operatively.
