Abstract
esarean birth is the most common laparotomy done in the world today, with an estimation of over one million operation performed every year. Cesarean section in morbidly obese women with a voluminous panniculus associated with higher the risk of postoperative complication.
This study was conducted at "Ain Shams University Maternity Hospital". It was a prospective randomized clinical trial study that included 72 pregnant women were admitted to delivery by cesarean section for comparison between transverse supraumbilical incision and Pfannenstiel incision.
