The animals were divided into 4 groups consisting of 10 animals (180±10gms), two controls groups and two treatment groups:
Group (1): Control negative (0.9% saline, 3ml/kg.b.w., orally).
Group (2): Positive control (sunset yellow 2.5mg/kg.b.w. suspended in 1ml 0.9% saline was given orally daily for 30 days).
Group (3):Curcumin 50mg/kg.b.w. suspended in 1ml 0.9% saline was given orally daily for 30 days).
