Pain Assessment after Short Course versus Long Course Palliative Radiation of Painful Bony Metastasis

Abdelfattah Rashad Abdelfattah Elmasry;

Abstract

ABSTRACT
In view of the equivalence of both fractionation regimens in palliating the pain caused by bony metastases, shorter fractionation courses should be more frequently used in our clinical practice being more cost-effective, less time-consuming, and allow overcoming long waiting lists. With more hypo-fractionated schedules should be evaluated against the standard protracted ones.
