Abstract
The present study was carried during the period from 2014/2015 and 2015/016, at Ornamental Horticulture Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, to study the effect of some micro element as well as some bio-stimulants on vegetative growth, flowering, seed production and chemical composition of milk thistle Silybum marianum (L.) plant and the content of silymarin in seeds.
1. Effect of micro-elements (iron, manganese and boron)
The plants were sprayed with the following treatments: 25 and 50 ppm of boron, Iron at 100 and 200 ppm and manganese at 100 and 200 ppm, besides the control.
