Abstract
Breast cancer is not only a leading cause of death among women but also carries a high risk of recurrence. Cancer stage and associatedmortality is worse in recurrence than originally diagnosed cancer for the same sized tumor. However, as with the original cancer, the earlier the diagnosis of recurrence, the better the outcome. Therefore, management of these women should include testing that improves the early diagnosis of recurrence, contrast enhanced mammography and MRI has been shown to be valuable in early detect of breast recurrent lesionnot found by mammography or physical examination after BCS
