Preparation, Characterization and Environmental Application of New Nanomaterials based on Heteropolyacids doped Titania

Hanan Atef Soliman Ebaid;

Abstract

HPA/TiO2 with different contents of HPA (0.0020, 0.0025, 0.0050, 0.0070, 0.0100, 0.0150 and 0.0200 mol) was prepared by sol-gel method in the absence of any template under acidic condition. Also, 0.0050 PW12/ TiO2 was prepared by sol-gel hydrothermal method for different times (0.5, 1, 2h) at 200°C. The effect of different capping agents (Triton x-100, CTAB, SDS and β-cyclodextrin) on the physicochemical properties of 0.0050 PW12/ TiO2 were studied. The obtained nanomaterials were characterized using different advanced techniques like XRD, TEM, EDX, UV-Visible diffuse reflectance and FL spectroscopy.
