Assessment Of Choroidal And Retinal Changes In Cases Of Central Serous Chorioretinopathy Treated With Oral Eplerenone

Nourhan Alaa Eldin Abdelaziz;

Abstract

entral Serous Chorioretinopathy is a disease characterized by serous retinal detachment or/and retinal pigment epithelial disruption associated with fluid leakage through RPE to the subretinal space.
CSR is amultifactorial disease as there are multiple risk factors that may help the progression of the disease. Observation is the initial management in most acute CSR cases. The goal from management of CSR is to induce neurosensory retinal reattachment, preserve or improve visual function and prevent recurrence.
