Abstract


Ducks are one of the essential needing to human populations throughout the world as; duck meat and duck eggs are consumed for protein-specific dietary purposes, used for natural decor on small ponds or lakes, raised as pets for children, hunted in game conservation or preserves areas, and finally, used for entertainment at county fairs.
In Egypt million households own and raise ducks in their backyards for meat, egg production, or as pets. Unfortunately, disease risks are associated with contact with duck's adverse health effects in people.
Diarrhea in duckling is a wide problem led to damage the intestine wall and can cause reduced absorption of nutrients leading to weight loss and dehydration. Depending on the cause the diarrhea may be contagious to other birds.
Accordingly, we can summarize our results in the following points:
• Pathogenic diarrheal bacteria were opportunistic pathogen multidrug resistant isolated in our study by specific isolation methods and according to epidemiological parameters which were recorded as significant factors on Duck Salmonellosis, E.coli and Pasteurella in Sharqyia and the prevalence was varied in different age, sex, location, season and health status. These pathogenic bacteria were successfully isolated and identified from the collected samples and organs from apparently healthy and diseased ducklings by cultural, morphological, biochemical and molecular techniques.
• Antibiotic sensitivity was measured by their zone of inhibition and it revealed a highly resistance to them. The isolated and characterized etiological agent of
