Clinical and Radiographic Assessment of Dental Implants Activated by Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) and Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF) (A randomized clinical trial)
Ahmed Mohamed Elkady;
Abstract
Implant surfaces have been developed along the last decades to provide a faster and more improved Osseo-integration, as titanium implants and its alloys cannot directly bond with the living bone, surface modifications have been proposed as a method for enhancing and improving Osseo-integration. Several modifications have been developed and widely used in the aim of improving the clinical performance of the implants including turned surface, air or sand blasted surface, acid etched surface, oxidized surface, hydroxy appetite coated surface and plasma sprayed implant surfaces.
