Abstract


iver transplantation is considered to be the only curative treatment for patients with end stage liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma and acute liver cell failure.
Over the past years, there was a tremendous improvement in techniques and results of liver transplantation worldwide, however, Post transplant infection remains to be the most common cause of morbidity and mortality in liver transplant recipients that usually receive lifelong intense immunosuppression following transplant.
