Thesis Summary:
The identity discourse is a major area of interest within the field of content analysis in the
newspapers because it will show and reflect how the identity is being constructed in the online
newspapers discourse. The identity discourse is at the heart of our understanding of studying how
events are being covered and represented in newspapers as there is a link between the identity
discourse and it’s leading to the public in an indirect way.
