Abstract


This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of demineralization solution pH 4.4 in human enamel demineralization and evaluate effect of MI paste, MI paste plus ,Listerine total care zero mouth wash and MI paste + Listerine total care zero to enamel remineraliztion after demineralization by demineralization solution.
Sixty specimens of human teeth were prepared for this investigation. They were divided to 6 groups according to the method of analysis testing (micro hardness, SEM). The positive group (control no treated), negative group (treated by only demineralization solution and other groups treated by demineralization solution then treated mineralization agent. analysis testing (micro hardness, SEM) were applied for groups treated by demineralization solution and mineralization agent. Result revealed that the tested specimens showed deminerealized surface when immersed in demineralization solution pH4.4.
