Cyclic Fatigue Resistance, Metallurgical Characterization, and Cleaning Effectiveness of Three New NiTi Instruments Designs
Manal Mohamed Abdulbaky;
Abstract
The aim of the present study is threefold:
Part I. To assess the cyclic fatigue resistance of three new NiTi instruments’ designs; namely Hyflex EDM, OneShape, and Protaper Next, and to characterize their fracture behavior.
Part II. To investigate the effect of thermo-mechanical processing on phase transformation, microhardness, and microstructure of the above mentioned files types.
