Pathological evaluation of common pulmonary diseases in Equidae with emphasis on donkeys.

Abstract

Equine pulmonary affections are very common in horses. However, the respiratory affections in donkeys didn't gain great care in previous studies. Therefore, surveillance on the incidence of different pathological affections of the lungs was conducted in equines specially donkeys. The donkeys were of different age, and sex. The samples were also collected in different seasons to define the incidence of different lesions in relation to the season and to perform some diagnostic investigations to help elucidate the causes and pathogenesis of these affections.
