Abstract
Hepcidin and Erythroferrone are very important mediators on iron metabolism in the body. Hepcidin acts by binding to ferroportin; known as cellular iron exporter and the erythroid regulator erythroferrone (ERFE) mediates hepcidin suppression during increased erythropoietic activity.
