Abstract
A completely edentulous educational mandibular model was scanned and then a STL file was generated.
The model was modified to include all the required details of implants beds and 2mm mucosal space for mucosa simulation then the cast was printed using 3D printing technology.
The two implants were positioned at their planned sites in the model.
Two types of abutment materials were used to retain the BioHPP telescopic overdenture. Two groups were defined according to the material utilized:
Group I: BioHPP abutments were used.
Group II: Titanium abutments were used.
