Abstract
eeds assessment of terminally ill children has become a demand of the public and a priority for health care professional. When a child and his family face a prolonged or terminal illness nurses are faced with the challenge of providing the best possible nursing care for them during the course of the illness and at the time of dense.
Aim of the Study
The aim of this study was to assess needs of terminally ill children in critical care units.
Research questions
The research questions formulated to be answered during this study were:
What are the physical needs of terminally ill children?
What are the psychosocial needs of the terminally ill children?
