Study of structural and magnetic properties of some nanomagnetic mixed Titanium ferrites

Abstract

The structure and micro-structural has been studied by X-ray diffraction and Rietveld method. Specific structural parameters (the lattice parameter, cation distribution) were obtained by (XRD) spectra fitting refinement using the Rietveld method. The morphological features were studied using Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), while the microstructure was observed using the high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM).The results showed that particle sizes of the samples were in nanoscale but much smaller in case of samples that were prepared by citrate sol-gel. The selective area electron diffraction (SAED) was indexed for all the samples and the results confirmed the results of the X-ray diffraction fitting. The magnetic properties of these nano-ferrites such as the Hysteresis loops, Magnetization curve were studied for the samples at room temperature using the vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM
