ROLE OF COBALT ON TOMATO AND COMMON BEAN GROWTH AND PRODUCTIVITY

Abstract
Series of experiments were carried out to evaluate certain phases of cobalt or vitamin B12 with different levels on the growth,yield quantity and quality of both tomato and common bean plants.
The pot experiments were conducted at Wire-house National Research Centre .The field experiments were conducted at Research and Production Station,National Research Centre,EL-Noubaria under drip irrigation system.
The obtained results are summarized in the following:-
1. Applying cobalt in suitable concentration for each crop resulted a significant increase in the growth ,yield quantity and quality compared with control.
