Abstract

The use of rotary Nickel-Titanium single file system has been
gaining more popularity nowadays than multi file systems. Less
number of file used means, less manipulation of canals, more time
saving and less damage to root dentin.
The Dentinal defects formation such as root micro cracks during
instrumentation with any rotary file is inevitable. These defects
may complicate into root fractures on the long run and affects the
overall prognosis of the endodontic therapy.
In terms of comparison between three single file systems, some
files demonstrated certain qualities over the other. The Reciproc
recorded least amount of dentinal micro crack formation and
smallest amount of surface defects formed after several clinical
uses. The Waveone file was the fastest to reach the working
length in both mesial canals.
