Abstract


Autonomy in the work place refers to how much
freedom employees have while working. For some
organizations, autonomy means employees are allowed to
set their own schedules. In other organizations, autonomy
means employees can decide how their work should be
done. Higher levels of autonomy tents to result in an
increase in job satisfaction.
Organizational commitment is an attachment to or
identification with the organization, such attachment may
considered an emotional response, particularly when the
individual believes strongly in the organizations goals and
values and demonstrate a strong desire to maintain
membership in organization. A three-component
