Survey on Surgical Affections of Udder and Teats in Small Ruminants in Ismailia and Sinai

Abstract


Survey on 3965 small ruminants of 1672 ewes and 2293 goats for four years in Ismailia and Shamal Sinai Governorates was carried out. The animals were collected from different farms belonged to Suez Canal University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture in Ismailia and Faculty of Environmental and Agriculture science in El-Aresh. In addition to different perivate Farmer farms. For detection the most prevalent surgical udder and teat affections and abnormalities, their incidence, causes, evaluation of different methods of treatments and to claim advices for preventive measures.
The clinically affected cases were subjected to, case history,
clinical, ultrasonographical, angiographical, bacteriological, mycological and histopathological examinations.
