Cerebrovascular stroke (CVS) is a devastating disease and a medical emergency situation sometimes called a brain attack. It is the second leading cause of death and the major cause of long term, physical, psychological and social disability in the elderly around the world. Nearly
17 million people worldwide are affected with CVS annually with a mortality rate among them up to 6 million, and about 25% of all CVS are considering recurrent stroke. Stroke is an injury to the brain that has significant effects that extend far beyond the health of individual to the family and the community (World Health Organization (WHO), 2018).
